HAOYANG'S SPEECH
Thank you, Shimin for your speech. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone, for voting for us, chongyuh and jialin as your next vice-president and I as your next president. I am very glad to have them with me, and look forward to working together. We would definitely put in our best, and seek your guidance and understanding. I would also like to thank Mrs Ng, Ms Ng and Mr Tan for giving us this opportunity and for having trust and faith in us.
I can still remember my first week in nan chiau 2 years ago. And during the CCA presentation, I want to be frank to say that, I was shocked to see CO’s item, a simple arrangement of男儿当自强. The CO we had 2 years ago, was very small. And the main reason I was shocked, was because we had no percussion, nor any suona, different from the one I joined in primary school. It was then I found out that they were quite new.
However, the CO we have today is very different. Its big and mighty, with nearly the highest number of members in Nan Chiau, and is highly skilled. And to me it is the best CCA in Nan Chiau. The result of this drastic change I would say, is because of our commitment, and of course the work of our wonderful teachers and seniors. The seniors have given their 100% to everything, and without them, we would not be where we are today.
Finally, I would like to welcome the Sec 1s to CO, and hope that this would be the start of your musical journey. On behalf of everyone, I wish the Sec 4s all the best for their O and N levels. With this, I end my speech. I thank you for your time, and for giving me this opportunity to speak.

SHIMIN'S SPEECH
Firstly, I would like to thank Mrs Ng, Mr Tan and Ms Ng for giving me this opportunity to speak on behalf of our Sec4s here today.
As most of you all would probably know, the Sec4s here would be the last and final batch of the pioneers leaving this year. Being the majority of the first 48 members, I would say that we’ve gone through the thick and thins of NCHSCO which some of you all would not experience. It was especially so in instances like learning an instrument from scratch without much mentoring from seniors and performing on stage within a short span of 6 months. In addition, preparing for SYF in just one year. And there weren’t complaints or whining, all I could say was that everyone gave their best shot.
Nevertheless, our recent SYF was likewise fantastic and I’ve never seen any other groups move the groove like we did. This time round, even outsiders could see our perseverance and intense determination. And that was already enough to take us to a gold standard. Moreover, I believe that that very April the 22nd would be deeply engraved in the memory lanes of each and every one of us.
Once again, on behalf of everyone here, I would like to express my gratitude specifically to people like Syivester, Shi Ying, Zhi Ying, Crystal, Jing Ying, Lai Yin and many more for being so magnanimous in contributing their precious time to coach each and everyone of us instead of practicing. Also I would like to give my thumbs-up to the suona people for mastering the art of suona in such a shot time.
And by and by, the 35 of us here have come to an end of our journey in NCHSCO. I hope that the rest of you all would carry on the labour of love for our Chinese Orchestra, with the never-ending NCHSCO zeal.
In conclusion, I sincerely hope that every current member would give their up most respect and support to our 3 teacher-in charges here, Xu Lao Shi and your newly appointed leaders headed by Hao Yang.
Thank You :)
